Honey-Buttermilk Cornbread

Honey-Buttermilk Cornbread

A great corn bread recipe to try !
Ingredients:

* 1 1/2 cups flour
* 1 1/4 cups stone ground cornmeal
* 2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
* 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 3 large eggs
* 1 cup buttermilk
* 1/4 cup melted butter, cooled slightly
* 1/4 cup honey

INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oven to 425°. Grease a 9-inch square baking pan or spray with baking spray.
Combine the flour, meal, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
In another bowl, whisk the eggs with the buttermilk, butter, and honey. Pour the egg mixture into the dry mixture and stir just until combined. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for
20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. The corn bread recipe is ready to serve...
